The conference process of the 4th National Conference on LGBTQIA+ People aims to discuss and develop proposals, strategies and guidelines for public policies related to the rights of LGBTQIA+ people. Thus, the main objective is to bring together representatives of the government and civil society to map the main challenges and decide on priorities for such policies.

Is there a suggestion of gender and racial parity at the National Conference?

Yes, according to the Guiding Document for Holding the National Conference on the Rights of LGBTQIA+ People, the states, Federal District and municipalities must promote the composition of delegations, including LGBTQIA+ people in terms of gender, race/ethnicity and generational diversity.

How will the delegates who will participate in the 5th National Conference on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities be defined?

53% of vacancies for women.

40% for males.

7% for people with other gender identities or sexual orientations.

50% of vacancies for representatives of civil society and 50% for public authorities.
